About Sapori Ristorante
Serving delicious Italian Cuisine
Located at 3800 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, NY 10312, Sapori Ristorante operates as an italian restaurant serving Staten Island in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Staten Island, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across New York do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 3β10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sapori Ristorante at (718) 210-0388; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is saporiristorantesi.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 497 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded italian restaurants in Staten Island.
Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Staten Island is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We had a wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying great conversation. The steak and veal were absolutely outstandingβperfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. And the tiramisu for dessertβ¦ simply magical! It left the most delightful aftertaste and was the perfect ending to our meal. Highly recommend this place for a cozy and delicious dining experienc

Iβm not sure how I feel about this place. I had high hopes because of the reviews. It wasnβt bad, but it wasnβt great either. To be fair, this was a Valentineβs Day dinner, so we didnβt get to try the regular menu. However, I do think the restaurant should inform guests when booking reservations that only a Valentineβs Day menu will be served. That wasnβt communicated to us. The portions were generous, and you definitely get a lot of food, but flavor-wise, it was just average. Iβve had much better Italian cuisine. Starting with the appetizers, the octopus was a strong openerβnicely charred and a very large portion. The baked oysters and clams, however, were a hard pass for me. They were overly oily and heavily breaded, which completely masked the natural flavors of the shellfish. For the main courses, we ordered scallops with squid ink spaghetti, a ribeye, and a surf and turf. It was a busy night, so perhaps the kitchen was rushed but that shouldn't be an excuse because it was about $80 per person. The spaghetti was just okay, but the scallops were cooked perfectlyβtender, not rubbery, and done just right. The ribeye was my mistake; I should have known better than to order steak

Absolutely phenomenal!! Went here with my wife and my in laws and it was amazing! For starters, the resturant has a great cozy vibe and the staff is so friendly and welcoming! They give you bread with butter and eggplant caponata which I am a huge fan of! For appetizers, we got the special fried sweet and sour calamari, minestrone soup, and baked clams. All 3 of which Iβd highly recommend! The clams had so much flavor and were in a delicious sauce. The calamari was perfectly crispy and sauced excellently! For entrees we got the pollo scarpariello, lamb chops, risotto, and veal chop. I personally got the pollo and loved it! The chicken was off the bone which made it so easy to eat and the sauce it was in was perfect! Was light enough so you didnβt feel bogged down but was slammed full of flavor. The rest of my family all loved their meals and we would all happily get what we had again. For dessert we got a spread of lava cake, cheese cake, carrot cake, panna cotta, and gelato. I thought I was full but I couldnβt stop myself from devouring the lava cake and carrot cake specially. The gelato was also fantastic! Overall we had such an amazing dining experience! The resturant is f

I was a little bit skeptical when I seen 370 reviews with a 4.9 rating until I actually went there. It is completely legit. The menu is small, but thatβs because everything is done to perfection. The service was impeccable. Sammy was on top of everything like white on rice. Thereβs a true passionate chef in that kitchen. The attention to detail was incredible. I will most definitely be returning.
